Hello everyone! Special request from dad. He would like people to visit him! The state has lifted some of the visitation limits and is allowing outside visitation in a designated area by appointment only. So there are two ways to visit him right now. 1) Call ahead and schedule an appointment to have an outside visit with him, 2) Ring the bell at the front of the facility and ask staff to show you his window and visit through that window. If you do this it is best to prepare your phone and have a speaker conversation To call dad and visit this way.

Dad feels lonely and is looking for people to talk to. His specific request is that he just wants someone to talk to. Dad is doing very well physically and is just looking for some emotional support. He is still astonished by the fact he was out of it for 2.5 months And has lost a portion of his life. Staff there is doing their Do diligence but dad needs social activity.

If you have his number send him a text of support and allow him to see that he is still in everyone’s thoughts. Send him a photo that give him a brief moment to take his mind off the illness he is recovering from. Allow him to respond and play it by ear as he slowly gets his dexterity back to use his phone and attends to his Therapy appointments through out the week.
