Today was a very technical day for dad. Overall he is making Great steps forward. He is at an all time low ventilator setting of 40%. In addition, his setting were in a specific mode that presumed a certain pressure for his breathing. The vent mode has been changed and dad is doing much more on his own. He is doing well with a lightened support.
There has been some additional obstacles with the transition. Dads slight temperature has increased and is a fair temp that solidifies the potential of infections. There still has not been a confident find it an infection. Doctors have worked diligently and will be testing areas above dads neck investigating each area for Potential
area for infection.
Dad has made some tremendous steps, but there is still a long road ahead. I am pretty optimistic myself and pleased with the progress. Sedation levels have decreased and it appears that we are on the road to recovery for with some challenges.

Thanks Bobi , sounds like those are steps in the right di rection .. find specifically if they can ..where the infection IS ( I know it could be all over, ask the Physicians about doing a spinal tap ! It could be In the CSF cerebral spinal fluid.? Remember bro, I am no Doc. .,just a question?
