Update #34

Today was a very technical day for dad. Overall he is making Great steps forward. He is at an all time low ventilator setting of 40%. In addition, his setting were in a specific mode that presumed a certain pressure for his breathing. The vent mode has been changed and dad is doing much more on his own. He is doing well with a lightened support.

There has been some additional obstacles with the transition. Dads slight temperature has increased and is a fair temp that solidifies the potential of infections. There still has not been a confident find it an infection. Doctors have worked diligently and will be testing areas above dads neck investigating each area for Potential

area for infection.

Dad has made some tremendous steps, but there is still a long road ahead. I am pretty optimistic myself and pleased with the progress. Sedation levels have decreased and it appears that we are on the road to recovery for with some challenges.

Update #33

All is well pushing forward thus far. Dad is getting the treatment he needs and progress is Happening. Dads lungs Are still heavily damaged. There is a still a long road ahead with much more healing to accomplish. Doctors will monitor dad and his progress and continue to update his conditions as usual

. Lets continue the support for dad and communicate effectively. Hope all is well with everyone and their respected immediate family members.

Update #32

Surgery is done. It went well and was completed with out any complication. Dad has improved to get the surgery and no longer has anything attached above his neck. Doctors expect dad to be able to start the path of lowering his sedation. Great news thus far.
